Simulation Engineer (Robotics)

What you will do

• Build sim-ready digital twin environments for real-world assets, scenes, and tasks.
• Develop scalable pipelines for generating simulation environments.
• Tune physics, rendering, geometry, and robot settings to minimize the sim-to-real gap.
• Collaborate with simulation, rendering, asset, AI, and robotics teams to enhance realism and utility.
• Create iteration pipelines to improve simulation environments and boost model performance.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering skills in Python, C++, or similar languages.
• Experience building simulation systems, robotics infrastructure, or large-scale experimentation tools.
• Solid understanding of software architecture, data pipelines, and distributed systems.
• Ability to work cross-functionally to turn ambiguous requirements into robust systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with closed-loop or log-replay evaluation at scale.
• Proficiency with robotics simulation tools such as Isaac Sim, MuJoCo, Newton, Drake, or Gazebo.
• Background in synthetic data, scene generation, or robotics benchmarks.
• Experience with robot manipulation, mobile manipulation, humanoids, or embodied AI systems.
