Software Engineer, Fullstack (Robotics)

What you will do

• Build customer-facing platforms for browsing, searching, and managing large-scale robotics datasets.
• Design and implement APIs for internal tools and external platform features.
• Develop interfaces for configuring, launching, and monitoring workflows running against robotic hardware.
• Contribute across the stack to data collection applications.
• Create data visualization interfaces for inspecting collection quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Python and at least one modern frontend framework, such as React or Vue.
• Experience building and shipping web applications with real users across databases and user interfaces.
• Experience designing APIs and working across backend services, databases, and frontend code.
• Availability to work on-site in San Mateo, California.

Nice to have

• Experience building data-intensive applications or tools for technical users.
• Experience developing features that interact with physical hardware or compute infrastructure.
• Experience with data visualization libraries or custom dashboards.
• Prior experience with AI, robotics, or scientific computing environments.
• Experience working in 0-to-1 environments and interest in backend architecture and frontend UX.
