Product Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Design, code, and ship full-stack features for an AI platform.
• Work directly with customers to understand workflows, gather feedback, and convert pain points into product features.
• Own delivery from specification through production, including data models, APIs, front-end implementation, and post-launch iteration.
• Build, test, and monitor production features for reliability and performance.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience delivering user-facing software at scale through multiple release cycles.
• Fluency with React, TypeScript, and Python.
• Experience with databases and cloud infrastructure.
• Ability to translate stakeholder goals into clear technical specifications and explain architectural trade-offs to engineering and business audiences.
• Strong ownership, fast execution, clean coding practices, and comfort working through ambiguity.
• Ability to work on-site in San Francisco.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs, embeddings, or RAG patterns.
