Staff Fullstack Software Engineer (Robotics)

Location: Waltham, Massachusetts, United States. Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $130,000–$170,000 annually, plus an annual bonus structure.

What you will do

• Develop and deploy features for the Spot robot fleet management system while maintaining software quality and maintainability.
• Integrate factory asset management data with the robot fleet management application.
• Build 3D worlds from robot-collected point cloud data and visualize panospheres from visual and thermal images.
• Develop strategies for recording robot maps and missions.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations stakeholders to identify pain points and solutions.
• Debug issues, perform post-mortem analysis, and document new functionality for adoption.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Strong full-stack web development skills and experience delivering complete software products from requirements through field support.
• Experience with some or all of C++, TypeScript, Node, React, Three, SQL, Python, Linux, AWS or GCP, and protobuf.
• Demonstrated project experience and ability to explain technical decisions in detail.
• Eligibility to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is unavailable.

Nice to have

• Android development experience.
• Experience with 3D rendering, mapping systems, or complex data structures.
• Experience working with hardware, IoT, or 3D engines.
