Technical Program Manager (Aerospace)

Location: Greater Seattle Area; on-site. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain the authorizations required under ITAR.

Salary: $157,000–$184,000 annually.

What you will do

• Own and maintain the integrated program schedule across propulsion, structures, avionics, and vehicle design.
• Track program costs against budget and flag variances early.
• Run concise standups, syncs, and program reviews.
• Identify cross-team dependencies and broker timely resolutions.
• Sequence long-lead items, test campaigns, and design reviews across disciplines.
• Maintain decision logs, action items, interface agreements, and status communications.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in program management, systems engineering, or technical operations.
• Strong technical intuition and exceptional written communication skills.
• Bias toward action and comfort operating with ambiguity and incomplete information.
• Experience with scheduling tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar.
• Strong organizational skills.
• U.S. ITAR eligibility is required.

Nice to have

• Aerospace experience, especially rocket propulsion or launch vehicle development.
• Experience at a startup or small hardware company.
• Experience with cost and schedule tracking frameworks.
• Background in systems engineering or integration roles.
