Company

hirify.global is a vertically integrated space and defense company developing hardware for low-Earth-orbit missions, including satellite buses, in-orbit servicing robotics, and mission systems.

What you will do

  • Assess launch and rideshare opportunities across launch vehicle capabilities, payload constraints, orbit, schedule, logistics, pricing, contracts, regulations, and mission risk.
  • Coordinate launch campaigns from flight opportunity selection through payload delivery, integration, launch readiness, and execution.
  • Act as the working-level point of contact for government customers, launch providers, mission partners, regulators, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Build and maintain integrated mission plans covering engineering milestones, approvals, testing, logistics, contracts, risks, and decisions.
  • Interpret payload and mission documentation, translate external requirements into internal actions, and negotiate clarification or changes when needed.
  • Provide program leadership with concise updates on status, risks, dependencies, contractual or financial exposure, and required decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, science, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience managing technically complex or regulated programs.
  • At least one year of full-time experience in a fast-moving startup or small company.
  • Experience bridging internal technical organizations with government agencies, regulators, public-sector customers, or other external stakeholders.
  • Experience managing external deliverables, approvals, contractual commitments, schedules, risks, and decisions as the primary program contact.
  • U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance are required. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S.; the role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. ITAR eligibility is also required.

Nice to have

  • Experience with spacecraft missions, launch campaigns, payload integration, launch service providers, launch aggregators, or rideshare missions.
  • Familiarity with payload user guides, launch vehicle capabilities, orbital parameters, launch pricing, test requirements, or interface-control requirements.
  • Experience with FCC, NOAA, spectrum, RF communications, export controls, or other space-related regulatory processes.
  • Experience with the U.S. Space Force, Missile Defense Agency, Department of Defense, FAR, DFARS, OTAs, CUI, DD254, or classified programs.

Culture & Benefits

  • Work in a vertically integrated environment spanning electrical, mechanical, software, manufacturing, integration, and test teams.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance fully covered for employees, with dependent coverage, plus life insurance.
  • 401(k) plan with company match and stock options.
  • 12 days of paid time off and 12 company holidays annually.
  • Free snacks and drinks, regular social events, and relocation assistance for eligible candidates.
