Location: Torrance, California, United States; full-time onsite five days per week. Regular travel may be required for customer meetings, partner coordination, testing, integration, and launch activities. Relocation assistance is available for candidates outside the Los Angeles area.
Salary: $125,000–$165,000 annual base salary, plus potential stock options and company benefits.

is a vertically integrated space and defense company developing hardware for low-Earth-orbit missions, including satellite buses, in-orbit servicing robotics, and mission systems.
What you will do
- Assess launch and rideshare opportunities across launch vehicle capabilities, payload constraints, orbit, schedule, logistics, pricing, contracts, regulations, and mission risk.
- Coordinate launch campaigns from flight opportunity selection through payload delivery, integration, launch readiness, and execution.
- Act as the working-level point of contact for government customers, launch providers, mission partners, regulators, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Build and maintain integrated mission plans covering engineering milestones, approvals, testing, logistics, contracts, risks, and decisions.
- Interpret payload and mission documentation, translate external requirements into internal actions, and negotiate clarification or changes when needed.
- Provide program leadership with concise updates on status, risks, dependencies, contractual or financial exposure, and required decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, science, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience managing technically complex or regulated programs.
- At least one year of full-time experience in a fast-moving startup or small company.
- Experience bridging internal technical organizations with government agencies, regulators, public-sector customers, or other external stakeholders.
- Experience managing external deliverables, approvals, contractual commitments, schedules, risks, and decisions as the primary program contact.
- U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance are required. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S.; the role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. ITAR eligibility is also required.
Nice to have
- Experience with spacecraft missions, launch campaigns, payload integration, launch service providers, launch aggregators, or rideshare missions.
- Familiarity with payload user guides, launch vehicle capabilities, orbital parameters, launch pricing, test requirements, or interface-control requirements.
- Experience with FCC, NOAA, spectrum, RF communications, export controls, or other space-related regulatory processes.
- Experience with the U.S. Space Force, Missile Defense Agency, Department of Defense, FAR, DFARS, OTAs, CUI, DD254, or classified programs.
