TL;DR
System Administrator (AWS): Operating workplace IT infrastructure for a satellite analytics company with an accent on identity and device management, cloud administration, networking, and security compliance. Focus on troubleshooting mixed-OS environments, administering access and SaaS platforms, and supporting SOC 2 and ISO 27001 audit readiness.
Location: Berlin, Germany — onsite. EU citizenship required.

What you will do
- Administer identity, access, MFA, group policies, and mobile device management.
- Operate productivity, collaboration, asset management, ITSM, wiki, and engineering issue-tracking platforms.
- Support AWS administration, office and remote network infrastructure, VPN, routers, switches, and access points.
- Troubleshoot macOS, Linux, and Windows endpoints and resolve infrastructure issues end to end.
- Evaluate and govern AI-assisted developer and productivity tools.
- Contribute to endpoint security, patching, vulnerability remediation, access reviews, SOC 2, and ISO 27001 compliance.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in system administration, IT infrastructure, or workplace IT.
- Experience with a cloud identity provider, MDM, SSO, SCIM, device policies, and zero-touch enrollment.
- Administrator-level experience with Google Workspace or Microsoft 365.
- Experience across macOS, Linux, and Windows, plus AWS or another major cloud provider.
- Knowledge of networking, VPNs, endpoint protection, patching, access control, and least privilege.
- Experience with IT asset management, ITSM, engineering issue trackers, documentation, and compliance processes. Fluent English required; EU citizenship required.
Nice to have
- Startup or scale-up experience.
- Exposure to SOC 2 Type II or ISO 27001 audits.
- Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or a similar language.
- German language skills.
