Equipment Maintenance Supervisor (Wafer Fab)

Location: USA - CA - San Jose (Rose); onsite equipment maintenance role

Salary: $87,550–$125,050 per year

What you will do

• Monitor and prioritize equipment repairs, track progress, and escalate issues when required.
• Communicate repair status and priority changes to shift technicians, manufacturing, and engineering teams.
• Supervise maintenance staff, manage performance reviews and timekeeping, and address attendance issues.
• Maintain compliance with procedures, safety requirements, EHS and OSHA standards, and incident-reporting processes.
• Manage equipment maintenance training and certification programs, as well as calibration, ESD, and 5S programs.
• Maintain MES, AMMS, QB, SPC, materials sign-out, and related maintenance records.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, military background, or equivalent industry experience.
• Hands-on leadership experience with the ability to assist with equipment repairs and troubleshooting.
• Technical leadership skills and strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Excellent understanding of wafer fabrication equipment and processes.
• Ability to make independent decisions, prioritize workload, and communicate effectively across organizational lines.
• Supplied Air Respirator certification and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
