What you will do

  • Prepare and clean wafers, load reactors, create or edit process recipes, and operate equipment for thin-film experiments.
  • Record process conditions and experimental observations, evaluate process performance, and prepare graphs and tables of results.
  • Prepare cross-section samples for scanning electron microscope analysis and support sample preparation optimization.
  • Operate and learn metrology tools, including CD-SEM, thin-film, and particle measurement systems.
  • Monitor process tools, perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance, identify problems, and request service when needed.
  • Coordinate with requestors, clarify requirements, communicate results, and work on multiple projects.

Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor's degree.
  • Proficiency in analytical processes and laboratory or manufacturing procedures.
  • Experience or training in equipment operation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and process evaluation.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision and provide informal guidance to junior team members.
  • Must work in or relocate to the Santa Clara, California area.
