Security Engineer (AI)

Location: On-site in the Bay Area

What you will do

• Design, build, and scale security infrastructure across systems, networks, endpoints, and products.
• Own and evolve security architecture covering endpoint, network, application, product, and data security.
• Develop and maintain detection, monitoring, and incident response capabilities for cloud and on-prem environments.
• Partner with engineering teams to integrate security throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Drive vulnerability management programs and lead risk assessments across infrastructure and vendors.
• Own IT infrastructure in the interim while establishing security controls and operational processes.

Requirements

• Excellent software engineering and infrastructure skills using Python, Go, or similar languages.
• Extensive experience building and operating security infrastructure in fast-moving environments.
• Deep understanding of modern security domains including endpoint, network, application, and data security.
• Hands-on experience operating production infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Ability to operate independently and build systems from zero to scale.
• Experience leading or mentoring security teams while remaining a hands-on individual contributor.

Nice to have

• Experience securing AI systems, robotics platforms, or large-scale distributed infrastructure.
