Security Engineer (AI)

Location: New York, NY; on-site, 5 days per week in the office

Salary: $200,000–$400,000 base salary per year, plus equity and performance-based bonuses.

What you will do

• Develop a deep understanding of the product and partner with engineering teams to build secure products.
• Integrate security tooling and promote secure coding practices.
• Build, deploy, and promote application security primitives that strengthen the product's security posture.
• Collaborate with platform engineering on platform-level mitigations for common security issues.
• Help lead security incident response efforts.

Requirements

• Engineer-at-heart mindset and motivation to grow as a security practitioner in a fast-paced environment.
• Deep understanding of security technologies, tools, best practices, and trends.
• Experience in a platform or infrastructure role.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS and secure cloud environment management.
• Experience leading security incident remediation.
• Experience with Go, Python, or TypeScript.
