Manager, Commodities Management & Operations

Location: McCarran, Nevada, United States. Work may take place in an office, manufacturing facility, warehouse, outdoor job site, or other industrial environment. Travel to facilities, supplier locations, customer sites, warehouses, or logistics partners may be required.

hirify.global is building a circular battery supply chain by recovering and refining critical minerals and producing materials for new battery manufacturing.

What you will do

• Lead and develop the Commodities Management and Operations team, setting priorities, service levels, procedures, controls, and training.
• Manage commodity transactions from commercial agreement and order creation through physical movement, inventory recording, invoicing, settlement, and closeout.
• Coordinate purchasing, sales, internal transfers, production flows, logistics, transportation, storage, packaging, and delivery requirements.
• Maintain visibility into inventory, committed volumes, production forecasts, customer allocations, shipments, costs, and material positions.
• Develop dashboards, reports, KPIs, system requirements, and scalable workflows for transaction accuracy, reconciliation, service levels, and operational performance.
• Lead risk management, audit-ready documentation, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, compliance coordination, and process improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Seven or more years of relevant experience in commodity operations, commercial operations, physical trading operations, supply chain, procurement, logistics, materials management, or industrial operations.
• At least two years of experience managing and developing employees.
• Experience with physical commodities or industrial products, including purchasing, sales, transportation, inventory management, or settlement.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and stakeholder-management skills, with attention to transactional, financial, and material details.
• Ability to use ERP, CRM, inventory, logistics, or commodity-management systems and to build reports, dashboards, metrics, and operational controls.

Nice to have

• Experience with batteries, battery materials, critical minerals, metals, mining, recycling, chemicals, or energy-related commodities.
• Experience with commodity pricing, index-based pricing, transaction economics, or margin analysis.
• Familiarity with Oracle, HubSpot, or equivalent platforms.
• Passion for sustainability, responsible resource management, and the circular economy.
