Sr. Manager, Supply Chain - Steel (Advanced Frames)

Location: Onsite in Fremont, California, USA; travel up to 25% for site visits, supplier coordination, and support activities.

Annual salary: $170,000–$190,000 USD for California.

What you will do

• Lead demand and supply planning, capacity forecasting, material readiness, and on-time delivery for the Advanced Frames business.
• Manage end-to-end supply chain execution for Advanced Frames contracts from early-stage handoff through delivery, customer coordination, and closeout.
• Coordinate planning and execution across Product Management, Engineering, Sourcing, Procurement, Logistics, Trade Compliance, New Product Introduction, and Operations.
• Ensure cost-effective material delivery, manage inventory control, and address delivery, supplier, budget, and field disruption risks.
• Provide executive-level reporting on KPIs, budget performance, supplier delivery, inventory alignment, and material delivery risks.
• Manage and develop the supply chain team while implementing processes, policies, software tools, analytics, and reporting systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, planning, logistics, or operations.
• Experience with steel products, solar, industrial equipment, or machinery manufacturing.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and managing regional or global teams.
• Strong planning, forecasting, inventory management, logistics, risk mitigation, and recovery planning skills.
• Advanced proficiency with planning and data tools such as Anaplan, Excel, Access, and ERP systems.
