IT Support Specialist

Location: Hybrid in El Dorado Hills, California, United States; requires on-site work multiple days per week, including at least 4 days per week during onboarding and training and typically 3 days per week afterward based on business needs.

What you will do

• Provide Tier 1 support for hardware, software, user access, and basic technical issues.
• Set up, deploy, and maintain Windows and macOS workstations, laptops, mobile devices, and related IT assets.
• Support employee onboarding and offboarding, including device provisioning, access changes, and asset coordination.
• Monitor, triage, and resolve employee and contractor service requests, escalating complex issues when needed.
• Maintain IT asset records, conduct inventory audits, and assist with endpoint and desktop projects.
• Support office infrastructure, physical security systems, vendors, documentation, and employees across multiple time zones.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, service desk, or a related technical support role.
• Experience supporting end users in a business environment and troubleshooting hardware, software, and access issues.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and macOS; familiarity with Linux is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and business applications such as Microsoft Azure or Google Workspace.
• Experience provisioning laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and productivity tools.
• Ability to work on-site in El Dorado Hills, California, multiple days per week; ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Nice to have

• Experience with onboarding and offboarding workflows, IT asset management, inventory control, identity and access support, MFA, or user provisioning.
• Familiarity with endpoint management or MDM tools.
• Experience in a security-conscious or compliance-driven environment.
