Facilities Coordinator (Manufacturing)

Location: Chatsworth, California, United States; on-site. Travel between hirify.global facilities is required as business needs require.

What you will do

• Conduct daily facility walkthroughs and identify maintenance, housekeeping, and safety concerns.
• Maintain and organize office, warehouse, manufacturing, and common areas.
• Complete basic repairs and maintenance, including furniture assembly, shelving installation, painting, and minor plumbing or electrical work as appropriate.
• Coordinate workspace moves, office setups, furniture installations, facility projects, preventative maintenance, service calls, vendors, and contractors.
• Coordinate deliveries, shipments, building services, facility supplies, employee events, meetings, and workplace operations.
• Maintain safety supplies and equipment, support inspections, and help ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in facilities, building maintenance, workplace operations, warehouse, manufacturing, or a similar hands-on environment.
• Strong organizational, time management, communication, teamwork, and prioritization skills.
• Comfort with physical work throughout the day and the ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and general building maintenance.
• Reliable, self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license and willingness and ability to travel between multiple facilities are required.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting manufacturing or industrial facilities.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and workplace safety practices.
• Experience coordinating facility vendors and contractors.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or mechanical systems, inventory management, or facility-supply purchasing.
