Manufacturing Facility Manager

What you will do

• Own all production output at the Phoenix-area facility, including throughput, quality, and on-time delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement across production lines through root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Hold final product acceptance authority and manage the interface with on-site staffing partners.
• Oversee site readiness, including tooling, material flow, equipment, and utility management.
• Build and develop the on-site manufacturing team, including workforce planning and shift structure.
• Ensure full compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, and environmental permits.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Phoenix, AZ.
• Proven experience running a high-volume discrete manufacturing facility end-to-end.
• Experience managing large on-site workforces through third-party staffing providers.
• Demonstrated success in taking a facility from construction handover to steady-state production.
• Deep knowledge of production systems, including takt time balancing, standard work, and visual management.
• Active experience with OSHA 1910, NFPA 70E, and environmental permit compliance.

Nice to have

• Experience with structural steel fabrication, heavy equipment assembly, or modular construction.
• Lean or Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
• Experience commissioning robotic weld cells, CNC processing lines, or AGV material handling systems.
