Facilities Manager (Robotics)

Location: On-site at the Norcross, Georgia campus; not a remote or hybrid role.

What you will do

• Own day-to-day operations across six co-located facilities, including lighting, HVAC, plumbing, non-production electrical systems, doors, loading docks, roofs, and general building conditions.
• Perform hands-on maintenance such as bulb changes, filter replacements, minor repairs, carpentry, furniture moves, signage, and paint touch-ups.
• Schedule, supervise, and hold vendors accountable for janitorial, pest control, landscaping, HVAC, fire and life safety, pressure washing, and roof services.
• Build and maintain preventive maintenance schedules and manage the facility work-order intake, prioritization, and completion process.
• Own safety and compliance checks, including fire extinguishers, exit signs, emergency lighting, OSHA signage, eyewash stations, and first-aid kits.
• Manage access, security, space planning, facility moves, and the facilities budget.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in facilities, building maintenance, or a skilled trade, with progressive responsibility; multi-building site experience is strongly preferred.
• Hands-on ability in non-licensed electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and basic HVAC troubleshooting, with sound judgment about when to involve licensed vendors.
• Experience hiring, managing, and evaluating service vendors.
• Self-directed, organized, calm under pressure, and able to communicate clearly with shop-floor staff and executives.
• Safety-first mindset and physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and remain on your feet for most of the day.
• Availability for occasional after-hours responses to building emergencies.

Nice to have

• Trade certifications such as EPA 608, electrical journeyman, or plumbing certification.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
• Facilities experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience supporting space build-outs or relocations.
• Knowledge of building automation systems, access control platforms, or CMMS work-order software.
