Contract Senior Talent Acquisition Partner (Biotech)

Location: San Diego headquarters with a hybrid onsite schedule; local San Diego candidates may be eligible for temp-to-hire consideration.

Compensation: $55–$85 per hour on contract.

What you will do

• Manage full-cycle recruiting from intake and sourcing through interviews, offers, and closing.
• Partner with hiring managers and HR to define requirements, priorities, and candidate profiles.
• Build pipelines of active and passive talent through LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, networking, and targeted outreach.
• Coordinate searches, provide regular updates, and maintain a strong candidate experience.
• Support offer development and negotiation in line with established guidelines.
• Maintain accurate candidate records in Ashby and follow recruiting compliance standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
• Experience recruiting for scientific or pre-clinical roles in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage multiple searches while maintaining strong candidate and hiring-manager relationships.
• Strong consultative partnership, communication, and confidential-information management skills.
• LinkedIn Recruiter experience required; Ashby ATS experience strongly preferred.

Nice to have

• Recruiting experience in biotech, life sciences, or pharmaceuticals.
• Familiarity with talent market intelligence tools.
