What you will do
- Lead end-to-end product design initiatives from discovery, ideation, and prototyping through validation and delivery.
- Define design strategies integrating adaptive interfaces, personalization, predictive user flows, and other AI capabilities.
- Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Hardware teams to deliver connected physical and digital experiences.
- Create prototypes with modern design tools and frameworks, and validate design decisions through research.
- Combine qualitative research, including interviews and participatory design, with quantitative analysis of usage telemetry and user feedback.
- Evolve multimodal design systems across voice, touch, gesture, and ambient feedback while advocating for accessibility, privacy, mentorship, and design excellence.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience designing systems and interfaces for IoT, consumer hardware, or connected services.
- Portfolio demonstrating product design for multi-device ecosystems, including mobile, web, wearables, home, or screenless products.
- Fluency in Figma, FigJam, Framer, and design operations tools.
- Familiarity with LLM-assisted design ideation and user-testing workflows.
- Experience integrating usage telemetry and user feedback into the design process.
- Ability to work in agile, cross-functional environments where hardware and software innovation intersect.
Nice to have
- Experience with AI-augmented product ecosystems or intelligent assistant design.
- Background in HCI, cognitive computing, or industrial design.
- Experience in global-scale technology, high-growth SaaS enterprises, or consumer electronics companies.
