Senior Product Designer (AI)

Location: Remote. Candidate must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government personnel security clearance. The position may require up to 10% travel.

What you will do

• Define product problem spaces, user needs, success criteria, and experience strategies with Product Management, Engineering, clients, and stakeholders.
• Lead end-to-end design across user journeys, interaction models, system states, edge cases, and high-fidelity interfaces.
• Facilitate workshops, ideation sessions, discovery exercises, and design sprints.
• Build interactive prototypes in Figma and AI-assisted or no-code tools, modeling realistic flows, conditional logic, system behaviors, and representative data.
• Collaborate with Engineering to make designs technically grounded, implementation-ready, and clear to implement.
• Influence product strategy and roadmap decisions, present design rationale to stakeholders and executives, conduct usability research, and mentor junior and mid-level designers.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience in product design, UX/UI design, interaction design, or a related field.
• End-to-end digital product design experience, including user flows, interaction models, system states, and high-fidelity interfaces.
• Strong proficiency with Figma or comparable prototyping tools and experience creating interactive, technically realistic prototypes.
• Experience with design systems, AI-assisted design workflows, and close collaboration with Engineering.
• Strong communication, presentation, independent decision-making, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• US citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. national security clearance are required.

Nice to have

• Experience in defense, national security, government, or highly technical environments.
• Experience with Figma Make, Claude Code, Figma MCP, or comparable AI-assisted development and design integrations.
• Experience with representative datasets, design thinking workshops, discovery exercises, design sprints, or strategic client engagements.
• Active-duty military experience or an active U.S. national security clearance.
