IT Project/Program Manager

Location: Newcastle, United Kingdom; in-office 4 days per week. Travel requirement: 10–15% domestically and internationally.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end technology initiatives from scope definition through implementation and launch.
• Coordinate network, server, software enhancement, and system integration projects.
• Develop standardized project management processes, tools, and governance with cross-functional teams.
• Create integrated project plans covering budgets, resources, schedules, test scenarios, and critical-path milestones.
• Drive change management, risk mitigation, contingency planning, and stakeholder communication.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience leading cross-functional project teams in complex IT or operational environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
• Expertise in project management methodologies, change management, and project governance tools.
• Strong interpersonal communication, leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal daily oversight.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI, Google Workspace, data warehousing, ERP platforms, and analytics systems.
• Experience using JIRA, Smartsheet, and Domo.
• Experience managing portfolios connecting corporate IT infrastructure with manufacturing operations.
