Senior Project Manager – AI & Innovation (AI and digital transformation): Leading AI-driven projects, proofs of concept, MVPs, automation initiatives, and emerging digital solutions from concept through implementation with an accent on hands-on prompt engineering, experimentation, and cross-functional delivery. Focus on building practical prototypes, validating business use cases, shaping the Business Assurance AI roadmap, and scaling solutions with measurable operational value.
Location: Ellesmere Port, UK; flexible schedule with a hybrid/remote model

What you will do
- Lead AI, automation, innovation, digital product, proof-of-concept, MVP and business transformation initiatives from concept through deployment and adoption.
- Work hands-on with generative AI tools by developing, testing and refining prompts for practical business use cases.
- Translate operational and commercial challenges into AI use cases, workflows, experiments and prototypes.
- Manage project plans, business cases, budgets, timelines, risks, success measures and adoption plans.
- Coordinate IT, Operations, Sales, technical teams, business stakeholders and external partners across functions and geographies.
- Support the Business Assurance AI roadmap by identifying opportunities, sequencing initiatives and scaling validated solutions.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience in project management, digital transformation, innovation management, digital product delivery or a related field.
- Proven delivery of technology-enabled or business transformation projects from concept through implementation.
- Hands-on experience with generative AI tools and prompt engineering, including developing, testing and refining prompts for business applications.
- Experience managing AI, automation, analytics or digital product initiatives, with strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working in global, matrix organisations and coordinating contributors across functions and geographies.
- Fluency in English is required in addition to the local language.
Nice to have
- Experience in the Testing, Inspection and Certification or Business Assurance industry.
- Experience with AI initiatives supporting Sales or Salesforce-related use cases.
- Agile project delivery experience.
- Spanish language skills.
