Head of IT (m/f/x) in Munich

What you will do

• Define and execute the company’s IT strategy and roadmap.
• Administer, optimize, and maintain cloud environments including Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and AWS.
• Ensure high availability and perform routine system updates.
• Provide 1st and 2nd level support, including helpdesk operations, employee onboarding, and hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with the Security team on infrastructure protection, access controls, and company-wide security standards.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in IT operations, including IT strategy or leadership responsibility.
• Proven experience directly leading and developing a team of at least five people.
• Hands-on expertise in cloud administration and 1st and 2nd level support across Mac and Windows environments.
• Foundational knowledge of network security, identity management, IAM, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Proactive player-coach mindset, strong communication skills, and a focus on helping people and driving technical excellence.
