Senior Quality Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Toronto, Canada; in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week

Base pay range: CAD 106,250–125,000 per year, plus bonus opportunities, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Own quality for new features through test planning, execution, and feedback throughout the development cycle.
• Define and implement test strategies for P0 product launches, including frontend and backend validation.
• Perform manual, automated, functional, regression, exploratory, and end-to-end testing.
• Automate mobile and web E2E test cases for iOS, Android, and Web applications.
• Build test coverage that accurately reflects the customer experience.
• Partner with the contractor team on regression test cycles.

Requirements

• Proven experience testing mobile iOS/Android and web applications in fast-paced product environments.
• Strong understanding of quality assurance principles, test case development, and test execution.
• Hands-on experience with Appium, Selenium, or Playwright.
• Comfort with scripting languages such as Python or Java and test infrastructure tools.
• Familiarity with Jira and test case management tools such as TestRail.
• Excellent communication skills, user empathy, and a detail-oriented mindset.
