Senior Quality Engineer (Computer Vision)

Location: Hybrid role based in the Montreal office; employees must be in the office 3 days per week.

Salary: CA$90.4K–CA$135.6K annual salary, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Drive testing strategy and quality standards for computer-vision-powered guided movement experiences.
• Create and execute unit, integration, end-to-end, automated, and manual test plans for new product capabilities.
• Expand automated coverage across critical mobile member flows and reduce regression risk and manual effort.
• Improve and maintain test automation frameworks to increase validation reliability and speed.
• Design validation plans for novel computer-vision capabilities and complex real-time, motion-sensitive interactions.
• Partner with software engineers, computer vision researchers, product managers, and designers; share best practices and mentor teammates.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience testing end-user applications through both manual and automated testing.
• 2+ years of experience testing mobile applications, including React Native, native iOS, or native Android applications.
• Experience creating test plans and driving coverage across unit, integration, end-to-end, automation, and manual testing.
• Ability to independently lead testing strategy and execution for complex user-facing features.
• Clear communication about risks, test coverage, quality tradeoffs, and release readiness.

Nice to have

• Experience building, improving, or maintaining test automation frameworks.
• 3+ years operating as a senior or lead QA partner and evolving quality practices for a team.
• Experience using Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript for test automation, tooling, or debugging.
• Experience testing video games, AR/VR applications, real-time motion-sensitive products, or computer-vision-based applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or a related technical field.
