• Design and maintain scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, and integration testing.
• Develop clean, efficient, and maintainable automated tests using modern programming languages.
• Collaborate with mechatronics teams to define test strategies and improve design testability.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and optimize build/test workflows.
• Analyze defects, investigate root causes, and drive long-term quality improvements.
• Champion quality engineering practices and automation standards across the organization.

Requirements

• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without GM sponsorship.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in software development or test automation.
• Strong programming proficiency in Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium.
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, testing lifecycles, and CI/CD systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Performance or load testing expertise (JMeter, k6, Gatling).
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices testing.
• Security testing exposure and familiarity with OWASP principles.
