Senior QA Automation Developer (Platform)

Location: Fully remote, open to candidates based in Canada

What you will do

• Design and own automation frameworks for functional and performance testing.
• Build agents that automate QA and testing workflows and reduce engineering friction.
• Develop the applications and services required by automation, deploy them to production clusters, and operate them in production.
• Turn prototypes into hardened, monitored, and mature tools by gathering user feedback and iterating on successive versions.
• Identify gaps in existing frameworks and tooling and develop solutions to close them.

Requirements

• 5–7+ years of experience building production software, with depth in test infrastructure, test frameworks, and developer tooling.
• Working knowledge of platform engineering and hands-on experience with microservices, Kubernetes, and deployment lifecycle management.
• Experience building, shipping, iterating, and gaining adoption for agentic solutions and test automation frameworks from the ground up.
• Fluency with agentic coding tools, including orchestrating multiple agents and reviewing agent-generated pull requests.
• Ability to independently turn ambiguous problem statements into scoped, defensible solutions.
• English is required for interaction with staff at hirify.global offices worldwide.
