Head of Accounting

Location: Fully in-person between the Palo Alto headquarters and San Francisco office, United States

Salary: $175K–$225K per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Own accounting end to end, including month-end close and financial reporting.
• Lead technical accounting, audits, tax, and statutory compliance.
• Manage multi-entity accounting as the business expands internationally, including transfer pricing and inter-company accounting.
• Manage relationships with external accounting, tax, and audit partners.
• Drive accounting systems and future ERP decisions.
• Partner with revenue leadership and finance on quote-to-cash improvements, billing operations, and scalable accounting infrastructure.

Requirements

• 8+ years of accounting experience at a high-growth technology company.
• Deep expertise in US GAAP, technical accounting, and SaaS revenue recognition.
• Experience with multi-entity and international operations, transfer pricing, and inter-company accounting.
• Understanding of billing systems and revenue operations.
• Ability to design systems and processes while maintaining attention to operational details.
• Ability to work fully in person between Palo Alto and San Francisco.

Nice to have

• Experience leading an ERP migration.
• Ability to write SQL to investigate accounting and business questions.
