TL;DR
Staff Accountant (US GAAP/Industrial Accounting): Supporting core accounting operations and building scalable accounting infrastructure for a nuclear fuel enrichment company with an accent on monthly close, accruals, reconciliations, and internal controls. Focus on designing accounting processes for a regulated advanced manufacturing environment, tracking fixed assets, and improving financial visibility during the transition to a fully integrated industrial enterprise.
Location: Los Angeles, CA; onsite full-time. Hybrid and remote work will not be considered.
Salary: $85,000–$145,000 annually, plus potential stock options and benefits.

designs, builds, and operates low-cost uranium enrichment services in the United States to support nuclear fuel production for advanced reactors and critical industries.
What you will do
- Support monthly close, journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, and core accounting operations.
- Design and implement scalable accounting processes, policies, documentation, and accrual workflows.
- Review open purchase orders and partner with operations and procurement on tracking and closure.
- Prepare internal financial reporting, dashboards, reconciliations, and decision-support schedules.
- Analyze transactions under US GAAP and develop internal controls for a regulated advanced manufacturing environment.
- Track fixed assets, capitalization, depreciation, audits, ad hoc analyses, and special projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and experience spanning technical and operational accounting.
- CPA certification, active or inactive.
- Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.
- Willingness to work onsite in Los Angeles full-time and work extended hours or weekends as needed.

- QuickBooks experience.
- Experience building or improving accounting processes in a high-growth or early-stage environment.
- Experience with complex or large data sets.
- Background in advanced manufacturing, energy, industrial, or technology-driven companies.
