CNC Machinist

Location: Winooski, Vermont, United States; onsite. Off-shift schedule with variable start and end times between 5 p.m. and 5 a.m.

Salary: $30.69–$47.96 per hour, plus eligibility for bonus, stock, and benefits.

What you will do

• Operate CNC and manual machines to produce precision parts according to production specifications.
• Set up jigs, fixtures, tooling, and CNC programs, and maintain CNC files and catalogs.
• Follow weekly production schedules, prioritize jobs by due dates, and complete production runs on time.
• Perform first-piece, initial, and periodic inspections against blueprints and program revisions.
• Maintain machines, tools, inventory data, and a clean and safe work area.
• Handle materials, perform secondary operations, and package finished parts.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of milling experience, including CNC milling.
• Ability to set up machines with minimal supervision.
• Ability to read blueprints and operate inspection equipment.
• Knowledge of machining processes and job planning.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 60 lb and push or pull with 50 lb of force.
• Frequent forward reaching and occasional carrying of up to 42 lb are required.
