Regional Applications Manager (Semiconductor Equipment)

What you will do

• Provide proactive and reactive technical support for customers, including machine and process troubleshooting.
• Coordinate urgent technical issues with product support, customer operations, service managers, engineering, sales, and marketing.
• Design, conduct, and direct complex experiments, field tests, customer trials, and joint development projects.
• Analyze technical and scientific data, interpret results, and prepare reports, proposals, application notes, manuals, and technical papers.
• Present technical results and product information, conduct seminars, and train customers and internal teams.
• Oversee Regional Applications Engineers, including performance reviews, coaching, and professional development.

Requirements

• BS degree with 10 years of experience, Master's degree with 5 years, or PhD with 3–5 years of experience.
• Experience supporting customers with complex technical problems and applying the scientific method to troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of semiconductor equipment subsystems, implanter physics, beam optics, dosimetry, diffusion and wafer processing.
• Knowledge of vacuum technology, semiconductor fabrication, device physics, cleanroom protocols, wafer metrology, and implant chemical analysis.
• Experience with statistical process control, design of experiments, technical reporting, presentations, and formal training.
• Ability to supervise, coach, organize work, set priorities, and communicate clearly in writing and in person.
