Location: Kemmerer, Wyoming, United States. Work is remote until early 2026, after which the primary location is Kemmerer.

Salary: $116,495–$174,743 per year; the range is specific to Wyoming.

What you will do

  • Supervise the development and maintenance of administrative, operating, and maintenance procedures for a new nuclear power plant.
  • Ensure procedures comply with company standards, NRC regulations, INPO accreditation criteria, and applicable codes and standards.
  • Lead procedure writers and program developers, including performance management, feedback, mentoring, and professional development.
  • Support the deployment and integration of software systems, smart procedures, and electronic procedure tools for site operations.
  • Coordinate cross-discipline reviews and incorporate plant design changes, regulatory updates, operating experience, and procedure change requests.
  • Participate in NRC, INPO, and management audits and prepare responses to audit findings.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or 10 years of nuclear power experience.
  • At least 2 years of leadership experience at a commercial nuclear power plant.
  • At least 4 years of commercial nuclear power plant operations experience.
  • At least 4 years of procedure-writing experience.
  • Experience supervising complex projects, diverse groups, processes, procedures, or programs.
  • Ability to meet ANSI/ANS 3.1 qualification requirements and applicable U.S. export-control review requirements.

Nice to have

  • Willingness to obtain an RO or SRO license.
  • Previous RO or SRO license.
  • Experience in maintenance, chemistry, or radiological protection.
