Production Planner (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Plan production for assigned manufacturing cells and monitor schedules daily.
• Identify and optimize bottlenecks to support on-time delivery and the overall production plan.
• Adjust workload release plans based on material availability and coordinate with purchasing to mitigate production impacts.
• Analyze master-plan requirements and recommend staffing or production-leveling adjustments based on workload and capacity.
• Coordinate with customer service, engineering, project management, and manufacturing teams to meet deadlines.
• Maintain clear communication, provide follow-ups, and support stakeholders with production information.

Requirements

• Relevant bachelor's degree, preferably in engineering or administration.
• At least three years of relevant experience or training.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to understand assembly sequences, identify bottlenecks, work with minimal supervision, and execute tasks on time.
• Strong communication, teamwork, interpersonal, customer-support, and presentation skills.
• Bilingualism in French and English is required. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is required.

Nice to have

• Experience generating database reports with SQL, VBA, Power Query Language M, or Power BI.
• Familiarity with an integrated management system, preferably Oracle ERP.
