Inventory Control Specialist (Supply Chain)

What you will do

• Consolidate, validate, and analyze local inventory data, identifying discrepancies and driving resolution with site and functional teams.
• Prepare inventory reports covering trends, risks, recommendations, and measurable progress.
• Identify and implement opportunities to reduce excess, slow-moving, and obsolete inventory.
• Develop processes for analyzing part parameters and optimizing inventory across all levels.
• Establish inventory planning governance and KPIs, including OTD, plan adherence, forecast accuracy, and inventory turns.
• Improve ERP, MRP, and planning tools while partnering with Manufacturing and Engineering on capacity expansion, ramp-up, and productivity initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in production planning, supply chain, or manufacturing operations within a high-tech manufacturing environment.
• Experience in high-mix, high-volume electronics, photonics, semiconductor, or related manufacturing.
• Knowledge of production planning, capacity planning, inventory management, and S&OP processes.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and planning tools, along with strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong English communication skills are required, both written and verbal.
