Focus on building program financials, analyzing cost and margin variances, supporting revenue recognition and audits, and modeling funding and investment scenarios.
Location: Houston, United States; generally an office environment

What you will do
- Lead financial planning, tracking, forecasting, and reporting for aerospace programs spanning R&D, customer contracts, and capital development.
- Monitor revenue, costs, margins, cash flow, budgets, forecasts, and contract baselines, providing monthly variance analysis.
- Own program-level monthly, quarterly, and annual close reporting and maintain financial summaries and performance dashboards.
- Support revenue recognition, accruals, capitalization, indirect cost allocations, audits, and compliance with customer contract terms.
- Lead annual operating plans, rolling forecasts, long-range planning, scenario modeling, and investment analysis.
- Partner with Program Management, Engineering, Operations, Contracts, Legal, and executive leadership on financial performance and proposals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in program finance, financial controlling, or project accounting within aerospace, defense, or advanced technology.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and government contracting, with familiarity with FAR, DFARS, and cost accounting standards.
- Experience with complex R&D and long-duration capital programs, financial modeling, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial close processes.
- Experience with percentage-of-completion and point-in-time revenue recognition methods.
- U.S. citizenship or U.S. permanent residency and successful completion of a U.S. government background investigation are required.
