Division Finance Manager (Aerospace)

Location: Houston, United States; generally an office environment

What you will do

• Lead financial planning, tracking, forecasting, and reporting for aerospace programs spanning R&D, customer contracts, and capital development.
• Monitor revenue, costs, margins, cash flow, budgets, forecasts, and contract baselines, providing monthly variance analysis.
• Own program-level monthly, quarterly, and annual close reporting and maintain financial summaries and performance dashboards.
• Support revenue recognition, accruals, capitalization, indirect cost allocations, audits, and compliance with customer contract terms.
• Lead annual operating plans, rolling forecasts, long-range planning, scenario modeling, and investment analysis.
• Partner with Program Management, Engineering, Operations, Contracts, Legal, and executive leadership on financial performance and proposals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in program finance, financial controlling, or project accounting within aerospace, defense, or advanced technology.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and government contracting, with familiarity with FAR, DFARS, and cost accounting standards.
• Experience with complex R&D and long-duration capital programs, financial modeling, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial close processes.
• Experience with percentage-of-completion and point-in-time revenue recognition methods.
• U.S. citizenship or U.S. permanent residency and successful completion of a U.S. government background investigation are required.
