Packaging Engineer (Battery Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Design and develop packaging solutions that meet customer, safety, sustainability, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct packaging testing and obtain certification from applicable authorities.
• Implement and maintain packaging standards and protocols for products and processes.
• Coordinate new package development with suppliers, production facilities, logistics, and internal stakeholders.
• Investigate packaging problems and recommend solutions that improve quality, efficiency, and cost containment.
• Research packaging materials, environmental compliance requirements, technology innovations, and industry regulatory changes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering preferred.
• At least 1 year of packaging design experience in a technology or manufacturing company.
• Strong knowledge of packaging materials, batteries, equipment, and testing methods.
• Experience with hazardous materials regulations and transport compliance preferred.
• Experience managing projects and working in a cross-functional environment.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and attention-to-detail skills.
