Staff Product Engineer (AI)

Location: On-site in New York City, United States

Salary: $230,000–$300,000 per year, plus equity and bonus

What you will do

• Define technical architecture and own end-to-end delivery of complex, high-stakes initiatives.
• Translate ambiguous customer problems into clear, scalable technical solutions and align product and engineering teams.
• Establish engineering standards for code quality, testing, monitoring, and reliability.
• Partner with Product, Customer Success, and go-to-market leadership on roadmap priorities and engineering strategy.
• Mentor engineers through code review, systems thinking, and technical leadership.
• Identify and resolve systemic bottlenecks before they affect the wider organization.

Requirements

• 7+ years of full-stack engineering experience.
• Deep familiarity with AI, LLMs, or AI-assisted systems, or the ability to learn quickly.
• Ability to measure success through outcomes and customer impact.
• Comfort collaborating across engineering, product, and customer-facing teams.
• Eagerness to work in person in New York City full time.
• Low-ego, resilient, and effective in a fast-paced environment.
