Production Supervisor/Manager (Photonics)

hirify.global is a well-funded startup developing photonics infrastructure for AI supercomputing, including optical interconnects and scalable photonic engines.

What you will do

• Direct daily plant and shift operations, including headcount planning, line balancing, and workstation allocation.
• Drive output, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), First Pass Yield (FPY), and cycle-time performance.
• Partner with Process and Equipment Engineering and Quality teams to resolve line stoppages and recurring defects.
• Manage operator performance, appraisals, training matrices, and cross-skilling across shifts.
• Enforce 5S, EHS policies, and standard operating procedures on the manufacturing floor.

Requirements

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
• 4+ years of direct floor-management experience for a Supervisor role or 8+ years for a Manager role.
• Experience in electronics, precision engineering, or semiconductor assembly.
• Strong leadership experience managing shift technicians, line leaders, and large operator teams.
• Experience with MES, ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle, Lean Manufacturing, and 8D root-cause problem solving.
