Planner/Inventory Manager (Aerospace)

Location: Gardena, California, United States; onsite role. ITAR requirements apply: applicants must be U.S. citizens or nationals, lawful permanent residents, refugees, asylees, or eligible to obtain the required U.S. Department of State authorizations.

Salary: $120,000–$160,000 per year, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Maintain parts-planning trackers using released BOM revisions, build schedules, supplier lead times, and inventory data.
• Translate program schedules into part-level need dates and identify shortages, long-lead items, and material risks.
• Own inventory accuracy through cycle counts, reconciliation, bin management, and discrepancy correction.
• Stage materials for Manufacturing and coordinate resolution of shortages before they affect the build floor.
• Support requisitions, RFQs/RFPs, purchase-order creation, supplier coordination, order tracking, receipt, and invoice reconciliation.
• Coordinate BOM and part-number changes with Engineering while maintaining documentation, traceability, and audit readiness.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in production planning, inventory control, or materials management.
• Working knowledge of BOM structures, parts-planning or MRP concepts, and supplier lead-time management.
• Strong Excel and spreadsheet skills; ERP or supplier database experience is useful.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, Program, and Supply Chain teams.
• Must meet applicable ITAR eligibility requirements for U.S.-controlled materials.

Nice to have

• Aerospace, defense, or hardware startup experience.
• Familiarity with ITAR-controlled material handling.
