Facilities Manager (Healthcare)

Location: New York, United States; hybrid. Requires travel 25–50% of the time to support new and existing clinics, with availability for facilities emergencies including nights and weekends.

Salary: $180K–$220K annually, plus equity.

What you will do

• Stand up vendor programs, preventive maintenance schedules, and facilities operations for new clinic locations.
• Coordinate construction handoffs and verify that systems, equipment, and finishes are ready before opening.
• Manage vendor and contractor performance across multiple clinics, including sourcing and negotiating service contracts.
• Track repairs and maintenance through a CMMS platform and conduct routine audits against clinic brand standards.
• Own the facilities budget, report monthly spending, and manage repair and maintenance responsibilities with landlords and property managers.
• Act as the escalation point for facilities issues and support clinics during emergencies.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of hands-on multi-site facilities management experience covering hard services, soft services, and health and safety.
• Working technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and building systems.
• Direct experience managing vendors and contractors, including contract negotiation and performance management.
• Experience with CMMS or similar facilities platforms, health and safety programs, incident response, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience owning a facilities budget and working with landlords or property managers, including reviewing lease language.
• Strong proactive communication, independent work across a distributed portfolio, and a customer-service mindset toward clinic teams.

Nice to have

• Experience in a scale-up, high-growth, or multi-site rollout environment.
• Background in premium retail, luxury hospitality, or consumer brand environments.
• Qualifications in facilities management, health and safety, or building services, such as OSHA or IFMA certifications.
• Experience in healthcare, clinical, or another regulated physical environment.
