Manager, Maintenance & Facilities

Location: Devens, Massachusetts, United States; onsite facility operations

Annual base salary: $116,000–$159,872, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Oversee maintenance and facility operations at the Devens manufacturing facility.
• Own the preventive maintenance program in the CMMS to reduce equipment downtime.
• Manage internal staff, external vendors, service contracts, facility projects, purchase orders, and budgets.
• Develop and implement MOPs and SOPs to standardize maintenance practices.
• Establish emergency response and business continuity plans for critical building systems.
• Maintain accurate equipment records, documentation, and spare-parts inventories while scaling the maintenance function.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience managing building services in an industrial or commercial setting.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Hands-on experience leading preventive maintenance, sustainability, and process improvement programs.
• Experience creating and implementing MOPs and SOPs from scratch.
• Familiarity with OSHA, ADA, and local building codes.
• Ability to work with landlords, external vendors, and internal team leads, and to perform physically demanding facilities work.
