Specialist, Operations Finance (Manufacturing)

Location: Aurora, Illinois, United States; onsite

Salary: $76,000–$95,000 per year, with actual pay dependent on skills and experience.

What you will do

• Analyze operational and financial performance across manufacturing sites.
• Identify performance drivers, risks, improvement opportunities, and manufacturing KPI trends.
• Support monthly Plant Finance Reviews, consolidated management reporting, and executive business reviews.
• Analyze manufacturing cost drivers, trends, operational variances, and manufacturing initiatives.
• Partner with the Reporting Center of Excellence to improve data quality, reporting automation, and process consistency.
• Collaborate with Plant Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Corporate Finance on strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 0–2+ years of experience in data analytics, accounting, or financial analysis; internships count.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and basic modeling, plus strong PowerPoint skills.
• Experience with large datasets, reporting tools, repeatable dashboards, and automated reporting.
• Experience with ERP and planning tools such as SAP ERP, SAP BPC, or Oracle; hirify.global does not provide immigration-related sponsorship for this role.

• Experience with Power BI.
• Experience with SAP BPC, Oracle, or similar planning tools.
