Financial Analyst (Corporate Finance)

Location: East Dubuque, Illinois, United States; travel and overnight travel expected

Salary: $63,000–$70,000 annually, inclusive of bonus opportunity

What you will do

• Act as the subject matter expert for financial consolidation software, including report creation, business-partner collaboration, vendor coordination, and administration.
• Own the capital expenditure process, including CapEx analysis and approvals, monthly reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and depreciation planning.
• Support strategic planning, annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and analysis of results, plans, and forecasts.
• Develop standardized performance reports, dashboards, and monthly or quarterly business reviews for senior management.
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities affecting profitability, cash flow, return on invested capital, and strategic objectives.
• Perform treasury and monthly-close activities, including cash tracking, account transfers, credit card receipts, vendor ACH payments, and accounts-payable checks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting; an MBA in Finance is preferred.
• At least 3 years of progressive finance experience with a strong emphasis on financial planning and analysis.
• Deep experience in data analysis, mining, modeling, corporate finance principles, budget and forecast variance analysis, and industry or competitive research.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, financial support systems, and managing data from multiple sources.
• Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, prioritization, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
• Ability to travel, including overnight travel, and work in a physically active environment; occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds may be required.
