Senior Project Controls Analyst

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA. Full-time onsite work is required initially; after 2–4 months of training, a supervisor may approve a hybrid arrangement with 3–4 days in the office and 1–2 days remotely.

Salary: $110,000–$130,000 annually, plus performance-based bonuses.

What you will do

• Support Program Managers with project funding, performance, cost, and financial activity tracking.
• Build and maintain automated monthly program summary reports using ERP and reporting systems.
• Review company and subcontractor invoices, funding, forecasts, burn rates, and percentage-of-funding spend.
• Present financial findings and analysis to support project management decisions.
• Prepare annual and quarterly forecasts and perform monthly actual-versus-forecast variance analysis.
• Support RFQ and RFP proposal pricing, including pricing for new and revised contracts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field.
• 7 or more years of progressive experience in project controls or financial analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Advanced ability to use Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis, reporting, and presentations.
• Experience with accounting software, budget creation, project cost monitoring, and process improvement.
• US citizenship and eligibility to obtain a DOE L or Q Clearance are required.
