Finance and Operations Analyst

Location

Location: Full-time onsite in Arlington, VA, United States. Candidates must be willing to relocate to the Washington, DC area.

Salary: $130K – $195K base salary per year, with estimated total compensation $151K – $263K including bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Build and own hirify.global's financial model end-to-end, including annual planning, headcount ledger, and board reporting.
• Run budgeting and headcount planning cycles, and develop reporting infrastructure for functional visibility.
• Partner on fundraising efforts, manage data rooms, diligence, and executive updates.
• Manage operational systems such as compensation design, offer generation, and spend policies.
• Lead special projects including real estate, market research, vendor strategy, and software procurement.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States and willing to relocate to Arlington, VA.
• 1–5 years experience in investment banking, private equity, or strategic finance at a top-tier startup.
• Mastery of Excel and Google Sheets with strong financial modeling skills.
• Detail-oriented, strong communication, and ability to work with urgency and autonomy.
• Interest or background in software, AI, cyber, defense, or intelligence industries.
• Must be a U.S. citizen due to government contract and security requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or equivalents for automation.
• Sense of humor and creative skills like image generation.
