Salary: $210,000–$257,000 per year, depending on relevant experience.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and implement robotics software systems and algorithms.
• Architect scalable, robust software systems with strong performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Develop robotics components in C++, Python, or Java for robotic platforms.
• Design and optimize algorithms for perception, planning, control, and navigation.
• Integrate software with robotic hardware, then test and debug systems in real-world scenarios.
• Collaborate with roboticists, hardware engineers, product managers, and other cross-functional stakeholders while driving technical execution.

Requirements

• Extensive professional experience developing software for robotics systems.
• Strong C++ programming skills and a deep understanding of robotics principles, algorithms, and frameworks.
• Proficiency with robotic simulation environments and tools.
• Knowledge of computer vision, machine learning, and control theory as applied to robotics.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in deployed robotics software.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related data-centric discipline, plus strong problem-solving, communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• Practical experience developing mobile robot navigation for real-world deployment.
• Experience contributing to research publications and presenting technical findings.
