Robotics Software Engineer (Robotics)

Salary: $160,000–$260,000 per year

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy robotic automation software for industrial manufacturing environments.
• Integrate software with PLCs, sensors, actuators, and industrial robots.
• Develop algorithms for calibration, path optimization, object detection, and collision avoidance.
• Collaborate with hardware, electrical, and mechanical engineering teams on integrated robotic systems.
• Test, validate, and continuously improve deployed systems in partnership with manufacturing operations.
• Contribute to engineering reviews, quality standards, and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience developing software for industrial or manufacturing robotics systems.
• Strong proficiency in C++ or Python.
• Experience with motion control, trajectory generation, and robot kinematics or dynamics.
• Experience leading cross-disciplinary teams and owning the full product lifecycle.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
