Senior Staff Product Manager (Robotics)

Location: Onsite in Waltham, Massachusetts, United States. Occasional travel to customer sites and regions of interest is required. Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $155,000–$185,000 annually, plus an annual bonus structure.

What you will do

• Develop a strategic business plan for Spot quadruped manipulation solutions in emerging markets.
• Lead collaboration between prospects and engineering teams to design, build, and deploy proof-of-concept projects.
• Work with customer prospects onsite and remotely to understand needs and define successful product applications.
• Conduct market-gap, competitor, customer-data, and performance analyses.
• Translate market information, KPIs, and customer insights into clear product requirements and internal documentation.
• Shape a product development roadmap aligned with market needs and the technological frontier.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience as a product manager or in a relevant industry.
• Experience with market research, segmentation, market sizing, competitive analysis, and identifying customer needs.
• Ability to interpret market data, KPIs, and financial models to evaluate market attractiveness and ROI.
• Strong stakeholder management, documentation, communication, drive, and autonomy.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, ambiguous early-stage market environments and engage stakeholders from loading dock to C-suite.
• Eligibility to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is unavailable.

Nice to have

• Product management experience with an early-stage product or scaling technology in an emerging market.
• Advanced degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in robotics, new technology introduction, or robotic manipulation.
• Fluency in multiple languages.
