Staff Technical Product Manager (Robotics)

Location: Union City, California; applicants must be able to work in the United States.

Salary: $142,000–$214,000 per year, plus benefits and equity.

What you will do

• Own living product requirements for core autonomous truck platforms and facilitate trade-offs between engineering findings and product goals.
• Manage the engineering backlog and execute the tactical product roadmap using technical project management tools.
• Lead autonomous vehicles through field trials and convert early-adopter feedback into actionable engineering tickets.
• Oversee uptime for deployed fleets and resolve critical field issues.
• Use deployment feedback to guide new features and prepare product designs for mass production.

Requirements

• 8+ years of technical product management experience.
• Experience in robotics, autonomous vehicles, or complex hardware-software integrated products.
• Strong background in technical trade-off discussions and hardware/software integration challenges.
• Exceptional backlog grooming and project management skills.
• Ability to adapt product requirements quickly as engineering findings evolve.
• Strong communication skills for translating field signals and customer feedback into prioritized technical requirements.
