Product Manager (Robotics)

Location: Redwood City, CA, United States; frequent travel to customer sites and work in field environments required

Salary: $126K–$153K per year, dependent on relevant experience

What you will do

• Develop product strategies, roadmaps, goals, and objectives with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Gather user requirements through research, feedback, and data analysis, then translate them into product specifications and prioritized features.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and sales to deliver high-quality products and manage execution risks.
• Guide user experience and design decisions, conduct usability testing, and improve product usability.
• Plan product launches, feature rollouts, customer education, and adoption initiatives while tracking engagement and performance metrics.
• Frequently visit customer sites with the commercial team to observe product usage, gather feedback, and identify product needs.

Requirements

• 3+ years of robotics-related experience and a background in robotics or hardware systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience gathering and analyzing user requirements and translating them into product specifications.
• Knowledge of product management methodologies, data analysis, and user-centered design principles.
• Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, business, engineering, or a related field; ability to travel frequently and lift 20 lbs.
